IBike.nz is for EBikers & Mountain Bikers to get fit and socialise in a variety of Local IBike Groups as below.

IBike is based in Rangiora, New Zealand.

We look to ride over a wide range of tracks or quiet roads only in the local area and as far afield as Christchurch.

As some members have memberships with the North Canterbury Cycling Club, we are also able to ride a variety of tracks in the Ashley Forest area, which has great views over the North Canterbury area.

The currently TWO types of Groups at IBike are as below:

Monteith's SUNDAY Group

This Group has been running for 10+ years.

Medium pace Group so reasonable fitness required...we do not leave anyone behind.

Start is at 9.30am at Monteiths, Rangiora each Sunday, subject to weather, and usually coffee stop half way round, finish at latest 12.30pm after refreshments at Monteiths, Rangiora. Distance can be from around 35km up to a maximum of around 60km.

This Group is LIMITED for numbers, so once the cap has been reached then there would be a waiting list. Non-responsive members in the group (not responding after three Ride postings) or Riders rarely riding without genuine advised reasons are likely to be deleted allowing a new member to be added.

As the new easily shareable Group name and a lot of promotion is going on locally it is likely to attract more members from October to April, then we see this capped number being reached relatively soon!

READY 2 GO GROUP (Ride any time)

This is a NEW Group. Any member can post up a Ride at any time of the week and see who is interested in joining them. Run via a Whatsapp Group.

There is no limitation on numbers for this Group,although individual Rides posted may have limitations or advise the fitness level required.

IBike originated in Rangiora 10 + years ago and started with a couple of riders from a list posted at Monteiths pub.

This has developed since then into a continual selection of local Groups and overseen by Stuart & David locally in Rangiora

Ebikers and Mountain Bikers are welcome and age range is generally 50 + split with a fairly even split of genders and all are welcome at any age/gender.

We post Events in our IBike WhatsApp Groups. The links are below on the blue buttons.
