I have been licensed with the Department of State for over 33 years and most of that time was spent teaching other agents everything I was learning. I decided to write an 8-hour course and I submitted it to the NYS Department of State, Division of Licensing Services for approval. Upon approval, I opened a real estate school and have been teaching my course to licensed agents and brokers for 18 years. Speaking for myself, when I got my license in 1988, I was scared and clueless as to how to make money. My broker was unable to devote any time to help me and so I had to "figure it out" on my own. No one should have to go through what I did, so I decided to write my book based solely on the contents of my course that lays out a road map to help and guide every licensed agent.
